A Wheeling photographer, whose work appears in the book, “Wisconsin Barns,” I will be teaching two photo classes at Harper College in Palatine this summer. I will teach “Barn Photography” and “Flower Photography” in the college's continuing education program. Both 6 week-classes will feature instructor-led field trips in which I will share tips and techniques and guide students in their quest to develop their own style, Classsroom discussions and reviews of students' work are also included. Barn photography starts June 13 and Flower photography begins July 10. Both run six weeks Registration information is available at www.goforward.harpercollege.edu/ce/index.php or by calling (847) 925-6707. A former editor at the Daily Herald, I have been a professional photographer for 11 years. My work is on view at Harper College Studio V, the Cedar Creek Pottery in Cedarburg, Wisc.. and at the Art Essex Gallery in Essex, Conn. “Wisconsin Barns” is published by Farcountry Press and is authored by Nancy Schumm- Burgess.
