World-class Music, Dance, Plus a Dash of Cooking Expertise: Stevenson High School Foundation Serves Up Plenty

Miss America 2014 Also Making Appearance at SHS

Stevenson High School (SHS) is the cultural nerve center of activity in the coming weeks, featuring performances, presentations and demonstrations by some of the best-known professionals in their fields of expertise. Everyone is welcome to attend the upcoming programs sponsored and supported by the Stevenson High School Community Foundation – connecting SHS with families in the surrounding community.

Here’s the lineup:

Tuesday, February 4 @ 7 p.m. – Teen Author Jay Asher appears at a free program in the SHS West Auditorium to discuss his most recent book “Thirteen Reasons Why.” Following the main presentation, audience members are encouraged to take part in a Q & A session with the young author – generating a lot of “buzz” in the literary community. Asher will also be available for a book signing. The program is co-sponsored by the Vernon Area Public Library and admission is free.
