First St., is co-sponsored by the Wheeling Senior Commission. The hour-long session will educate taxpayers on how to file a successful tax appeal in a time when the economy is putting added pressures to home and business owners.

Patlak will explain how property taxes are calculated and the appeal procedure of the Board of Review. Before the end of the evening, taxpayers will have an opportunity to work with staff from the Board of Review to address their specific questions and concerns.
