Village Welcomes Rosengarden Home
Ben Rosengarden, formerly of Buffalo Grove, was received Thursday by elected officials and police and fire personnel upon his return from a deployment in Afghanistan.
Senior Airman Ben Rosengarden of the 934 Security Force Squadron received a hero's welcome Thursday night upon his return from service in Afghanistan.
The former Buffalo Grove resident was escorted by motorcade to the village's municipal campus, where he was greeted by a crowd that included village staff and trustees, police officers, fire department personnel and residents.
Rosengarden, who was involved with the 's theater program and served as a volunteer with the , was honored with a reception at the .
