Landfill Decision Postponed Again

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency has granted a 90-day extension to the owners of the Land and Lakes landfill.

The decision as to whether the will require future monitoring has been postoned to Oct. 12, the Daily Herald reports.

A ruling from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency was originally scheduled to come today (July 14). The landfill owners were granted an extension, according to the Herald, to allow more time to collect and evaluate data.
