High Wind Warning Until 10 a.m. Thursday
Rainy, windy weather will dominate for next 24 hours.
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning until 10 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 20) near Lake Michigan.
Strong and potentially damaging winds could occur this evening and into Thursday, between 40 and 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph likely.
The strong winds could result in minor wind famage, downed tree limbs and power lines.

Moderate to locally heavy rain is expected this evening into the overnight. The highest accumulations of up to 2.5 inches are expected to be in northwest Indiana and far northeastern Illinois.
