Here is this week's list of suggestions for fun things to do with your kids this weekend.

Where/When:  Waters Edge Waldorf School, 150 W. Bonner Rd., Wauconda; 12 - 2 p.m., Friday, March 18.

Why Go: Parents and children ages 2 - 5 are invited to experience a busy morning baking homemade bread, playing, participating in circle time, having a snack and watching a puppet show. Parents will tour the school, talk to other parents and learn about a Waldorf education.

Why Go: Watch the fun sport of badminton and cheer on the Bison.

Why Go: The Palatine Park District's Class Act Youth Theater presents this play that tells a story about how friendship, ingenuity and a little magic can help solve a young girl's problem.

Where/When: Congregation Beth Judea, IL Route 83 & Hilltop Rd., Long Grove; 7 - 9:30 p.m., Saturday, March 19 and 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Sunday, March 20.

Why Go: Come in costume for family Megillah reading. Groggers will be handed out and hamentaschen will be served to sweeten life. Please bring boxes of dry pasta, rice or vitamins to donate to a local shelter.

Why Go: Watch local athletes in action and cheer on the Bison.

Where/When: Knupper Nursery & Landscape, 1801 N. Rand Rd., Palatine; 3 - 4:30 p.m., Saturday, March 19.

Why Go: Kids ages 3-7 will hear the story of The Princess and the Pea and then decorate their own pot and plant some peas. Fairytale fun at Knupper Nursery.
