Where/When: ; 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., Friday, July 15.

Why Go: All-you-can-eat pollock, tartar sauce, rolls with butter, salad, cole slaw and fries for a low price. Reservations not needed.

Pricing: $9.95 per adult; $7.95 per child

Where/When: ; 9 a.m., Friday, July 15.

Why Go: Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. Play 18 holes, with a cart. Enjoy a box lunch, appetizers, "suds" and a post-party with a cash bar and silent auction. Prizes will be awarded for the longest drive, longest putt, closest to the pin, hole-in-one, ball in circle and lowest team score.

Pricing: $115 per person

Where/When: ; 10:30 - 11:15 a.m.; Friday, July 15.

Why Go: Bring some blankets and come out to enjoy a free performance by Super Stolic, Children's Magician. In the case of inclement weather, the show will be held inside the Alcott Center.

Where/When: ; 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, July 16 and 17.

Why Go: 162 juried artists from all over the world will display all mediums of fine art. View and purchase works made by artists 18 and under in the Youth Art Division and at the Unique Expressions showcase of art made by artists with special needs. Live musical performances, good food and art activities for kids.

Pricing: Free admission and free parking

Where/When: ; 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Sunday, July 17.

Why Go: Shop the great assortment of fresh produce, flowers, meats and cheeses from local farmers and vendors. Entertainment by the from 10 a.m. to noon. The farmers market will take place, rain or shine, in front of the Spray 'N Play.

Pricing: Free admission

 

6.

Where/When: Rotary Village Green, north of the Post Office on Buffalo Grove Road; 7 p.m.; Friday, July 15.

Why Go: 21st year of the free concert series sponsored by the Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove and Lou Malnati's pizza. Relax and enjoy music by The Buffalo Grove Jazz Band. Food will be available for purchase.
