Why Go: View the creations of Bernard Williams, award winning artist. He illustrates the complexities of American culture and history in sculptures and paintings.

Why Go: A special performance of the spoken word in poetry to celebrate Black History Month.

5. Bikerman and the Jewish Avenger: Love Hurts ... A Lot!

Where/When: Metropolis Performing Arts Center; 111 W. Campbell St., Arlington Heights; Saturday, Feb. 12, 10 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

Why Go: This live professional theatrical performance is a Valentine's Day tradition. Hear two guys share their most bizarre but true stories about dating. This show is for adults only.
