Crowds Flock to Apple Festival

Crowds flocked Saturday to downtown Long Grove, where featured fruit-flavored treats, live entertainment, shopping and children's rides.
Apple Haus was among the biggest draws; lines of people waiting for baked goods wrapped around corners and wove along walkways. One customer said he waited half an hour to purchase his $1 apple donut.
Apple Fest continues today (Oct. 2).
