ComEd: Isolated Power Outage Through Saturday
The North Region was the hardest hit by power outages, 15,000 homes are still in the dark.
As of 1 p.m. Commonwealth Edison has restored power for 394,000 homes across Illinois, but 19,000 homes are still without power, according to a ComEd spokesperson.
The company says the Northern Region has been most specifically impacted by the power outage, with 15,000 homes still in the dark.
Power is expected to be restored in most areas by midnight on June 24, but isolated outages will continue until June 25, according to ComEd.
