Buffalo Grove Boasts 66 Marathoners

Dozens of residents completed the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday.

Buffalo Grove was well represented in the Chicago Marathon, with 92 residents registered for the annual 26.2-mile race.

Unofficial race results show that 66 Buffalo Grove residents finished the race, with three crossing the finish line in under three hours.

The best time was logged by Brian Hatfield, who finished in 2:50:57, securing 363rd place out of more than 45,000 runners. He was closely followed by Buffalo Grove resident Timothy Payne, who completed the race in 2:54:03 for 460th place, and Soo Jeon, who claimed 696th place by finishing in 2:59:39.
