Wheeling Student Qualifies for IHSA State Swim Meet

Wheeling High School junior Theresa Godlewski qualified for the IHSA State Swim Meet in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke events. Not only did she break a school record this season, she broke the Mid-Suburban League’s 100-backstroke record recording the fastest time ever at the Barrington High School pool where the conference and sectional meets are held. Godlewski also has been named Mid-Suburban League and Sectional champion. The state swim meet will be held this weekend, Nov. 22-23, at New Trier High School.
