Wheeling High School Staff Raises over $16,000 for United Way

The Wheeling High School "Wildcat" staff mounted a very successful United Way

The Wheeling High School "Wildcat" staff mounted a very successful United Way Contribution Campaign for 2013. Collectively, teachers, administrators and support staff contributed $16,156 to help fund the agencies and programs sponsored by the United Way.   This amount was more than double any other school in District 214.

Local retailers provided incentives to keep the generosity flowing.  These businesses included Bob Chinn's Crab House, The RAM Restaurant & Brewery, Coopers Hawk, Lou Malnati's Pizzeria, Oakley Sunglasses, and Best Salon and Spa.

In the past three years the Wheeling staff has contributed almost $40,000 to the United Way, whose mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good.
