The Township High School District 214 school board and administration are inviting community residents to attend a "State of the District" presentation at one of its six high schools in February and March. The presentation will focus on several topics, including changing demographics, student achievement, and district finances.
"One of a community's most important asset is its local schools," said Board President James Perkins. "Although student achievement continues to improve and financial performance is strong in District 214, the school district is facing some significant challenges. We invite residents to join us as we discuss our past, our present, and our biggest challenges for the future."
The hour-long presentation begins at 7 p.m. and will be held at John Hersey High School on February 12; Wheeling High School on March 5; Rolling Meadows and Elk Grove high schools on March 12; Prospect High School on March 13; and Buffalo Grove High School on March 20.
