District 214 Technology Program Receives Recognition in 2013 Magna Awards

The American School Board Journal, published monthly by the National School Boards

The American School Board Journal, published monthly by the National School Boards Association (NSBA), has selected District 214's program, Technology Innovation That Works, as an Honorable Mention Recipient in the magazine's Magna Awards 2013 recognition program. District 214's entry will be cited, along with the winning programs, in a special supplement to the May 2013 issue of the American School Board Journal

District 214 and the other Magna Award honorees will also be recognized at a celebration during the NSBA Annual Conference in San Diego, Calif., April 13-15.

According to the magazine publisher, Glenn Cook, "The editors and selection panel were impressed with the quality of the entries we received.  All of the programs receiving an award or honorable mention are a credit to American education.  (District 214's) project was one of only 15 selected by the judges for special recognition."
