Employers Offering "Comp" Time Instead of Overtime
Many employees are owed overtime by their employers under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) once they work more than 40 hours in a week. One of the most common ways that employers attempt to get around paying overtime is through the use of compensatory or "comp" time instead of overtime.
