David Stolman Vastly Outraises Opponent in 4th Quarter

David Stolman, Republican candidate for Lake County Treasurer, announced today that he raised $19,400 in the 4th quarter of 2013, over six times what his Primary opponent raised in the same timeframe. Stolman filed with $49,888.27 on hand, roughly twelve times what his Primary opponent has available.

“David Stolman enters the critical stretch of the campaign in excellent position to win. He has vastly outraised his opponent and continues to garner endorsements from Republican leaders throughout the County. Clearly Republican voters in Lake County understand that we need to nominate a public servant who has a proven track record of fiscal responsibility,” explained Collin Corbett, spokesman for the campaign.

Stolman has already received the support of respected leaders throughout Lake County. The list includes Lake County Circuit Court Clerk Keith Brin, Lake County Regional Superintendant of Schools Roycealee Wood, Lake County Board Chairman Aaron Lawlor, and Lake County Board Members Bonnie Thomson Carter, Brent Paxton, Linda Pedersen, Mike Rummel, Nick Sauer, Craig Taylor, and Tom Weber. It also includes Former Illinois Lieutenant Governor Corinne Wood, State Senator Pam Althoff, Former State Senator and Vernon Township Supervisor Bill Peterson, Former State Senator and Former Lake County Board Chairman Suzi Schmidt, State Representative JoAnn Osmond, State Representative Barb Wheeler, Former State Representative Sid Mathias, and Lake Villa Township Supervisor and Former Lake County Republican Chairman Dan Venturi.

“I am humbled by the outpouring of support for our campaign, and deeply honored by the trust that has been placed in me,” said Stolman. “If honored to have the opportunity to serve our community as the next Lake County Treasurer, I will focus on improving the lives of Lake County families by continuing to be a strong voice for economic development and job creation. As a staunch fiscal conservative, I will continue the Lake County legacy of fiscal responsibility. It is my pledge to taxpayers that I will be efficient with their tax dollars so that Lake County can remain an oasis of fiscal sanity in Illinois.”
