L.I.F.E. SERIES:LEARNING IS FOR EVERYONEAPRIL SESSION: WHO DETERMINES JEWISH IDENTITY IN ISRAEL? Join Beth Judea's monthly L.I.F.E. (Learning is for Everyone) series for a delightful evening of thoughtful discussion and personal perspective on a variety of topics with a view to the Jewish values inherent in the theme. The sessions will take place on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 6-7:30 PM. A light dinner will be served at a nominal cost of $10. The session on Wednesday, April 24 will feature Rabbi Emeritus HowardLifshitz, who will lead a discussion on who determines Jewish identity in Israel. Periodically, this question stirs emotions and occasional intense debate, sometimes straining the relationship between Jewish communities here and in Israel. The group will discuss this topic and its potential impact upon us. This discussion is open to the community.
