Weltman Bernfield LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Jonathan Howard, MST, CPA, as manager of Tax Services. In this position, Howard is responsible for reviewing corporate and partnership taxes; handling federal, state and local tax matters, including issues such as buying and selling companies and executive compensation; supervising staff in providing planning, analysis and preparation of corporate and individual tax returns; and assisting in complex tax research.

Howard has more than 19 years experience in the field of accounting, including more than 10 years as a tax manager. In previous positions, he developed tax strategies for corporations, start-up companies, closely held companies and high-net-worth individuals. His clients have included companies with $100 million and more gross receipts and operations in multiple states. Howard received his master of science in taxation from San Jose State University in San Jose, California.
