Pet Care Business Hosts Doggy Bowl

Doggy Day Camp participants at Best Friends Pet Care celebrated the Super Bowl four-legged style.

Dogs of all breeds and sizes donned team colors and hit the gridiron Friday for the annual Doggy Bowl at Best Friends Pet Care in Prairie View.

The day started with doggy drills, touchdown dancing and a pigskin toss. During the game, the sidelines were filled with cheerleaders and a Ruff-e-ree. Everyone was wearing team colors.

Afterwards, there was a TAIL-gate party and awards were presented for Fastest Running Back, Best Retriever, Best Tackle, Best Kick and MVP (Most Valuable Pup).

"Best Friends Doggy Day Camp is all about healthy, energy-burning fun," said manager Karyn Chylewski. "Since dogs love to run and jump, we knew a Doggy Bowl would be lots of fun.

"The best part of the event is that dogs didn't care who won — they just loved playing the game!"
