Get Out: Multicultural Fair, Outdoor Movie

Where/When: , Grayslake Campus; at dusk; Friday, August 26.

Why Go: See Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides on a giant 20 by 30 foot screen outside near the soccer field at the Washington Street entrance. The movie will begin at dusk. Please bring blankets or chairs to sit on. Parking will be available in lots 2 and 3. If it rains, the movie will be shown in Room C005 in the C Wing Auditorium.

Pricing: Free.

Where/When: ; 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., Saturday, August 27.

Why Go: Learn about other cultures through music, games and refreshments. Create fun crafts that represent the diversity of our community. Please register in advance for this event.

Where/When: Adlai E. Stevenson Historic Home, 25200 Saint Mary's Road in Mettawa; 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.; Sunday, August 28.

Why Go: Take a tour of the home of Adlai E. Stevenson, the influential American known as "the Man from Illinois" and see where he wrote speeches, reviewed world events and relaxed. The tour is open to everyone 8 years old or older. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Register online or by calling 847-968-3321.

Pricing: $3 per person for Lake County residents; $5 per person for non-residents.

Where/When: Mike Rylko Community Park, in front of the Spray 'n Play; 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Sunday, August 28.

Why Go: Shop the great assortment of fresh produce, flowers, meats and cheeses from local farmers and vendors. The farmers market will take place, rain or shine.

Pricing: Free admission.

Where/When: Viper Alley in Lincolnshire; 8 - 10 p.m., Friday, August 26.

Why Go: '70s British band formed in 1969, plays hard rock similar to the style of Pink Floyd.

Pricing: $22 for general admission; $40 for bowling alley seating.
