Baby Chicks Arrive at Frillman Farms

Tim Frillman is nurturing 125 chickens, which he expects to produce eggs by spring.

Last month, we profiled , who sells fresh eggs from his backyard chicken farm.

Frillman has since received his shipment of baby chicks, which will be kept warm by heat lamps until their feathers grow in. He shared these photos of the chicks, which are just two weeks old, with Buffalo Grove Patch.

The Rhode Island Red chickens will help produce Frillman's supply of 10 dozen fresh eggs per day.
