A new fitness center is on its way to Buffalo Grove.
The gym’s opening is scheduled for early October, but incentives are available for those who commit to memberships now.
Andrew Gallo, a Workout Anytime sales agent, sat outside the gym Aug. 27 to introduce potential members to the concept and offer deals to those who signed up.
Workout Anytime is a members-only facility that will offer 10 treadmills and 16 other cardiovascular machines, including elliptical climbers, StairMasters and stationary bikes, he said.
The 5,200-square-foot facility will also offer locker rooms with showers and a strength training area.
As its name suggests, the Workout Anytime will be open 24 hours per day. Personal trainers and other staff will be on hand during more traditional gym hours, while members will have key-card access to the facility from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Gallo said.
Workout Anytime is offering a $69 enrollment fee to members who join by Sept. 1. After that, a $15 monthly fee covers 24/7 access to the facility’s fitness equipment.
Members can also opt instead for a premium package that includes access to Workout Anytime’s tanning and hydromassage beds in addition to the fitness equipment. That package is available for a $49 enrollment fee, followed by a $25 monthly membership fee.
Enrollment fees are further reduced for students, teachers, police officers and firefighters, Gallo said. Enrollment fees will rise above $100 after the club opens, he said.
Workout Anytime representatives will offer information to prospective members during the Buffalo Grove Days business fair.
Buffalo Grove is Workout Anytime’s first Illinois location.
A wall divides the gym’s site from the remaining part of the Blockbuster building, which remains available for lease.
