Jewish Film Series at Congregation Beth Judea

Jewish Film Series to take place at Congregation Beth Judea.

Do You Like Film?  Do you like Jewish Film? Funny, Uplifting, sad, introspective, off the beaten path Jewish Films?  Well so do we!  Join us for entertaining evenings, filled with movies, dinner, and conversation.  Monday evenings, January 7th, February 4th, and March 4th.  We will start with dinner and movie viewing from 6 - 7:30 pm.  Minyan at 7:30 pm.  Followed by a lively discussion at 8:00.  Members $15 for the series, $9 for a single ticket and dinner.  Non-Members $30 for the series, $10 for a single ticket and dinner. The series kicks off on Monday January 7th with the Marx Brothers, Animal Crackers, led by Raymond Benson.  Mr. Benson has been an award winning and best-selling author, composer, computer game designer, stage director, film historian, and film genres instructor for over thirty years.  He is also the fourth official author of the James Bond 007 novels.  The series continues on February 4 with the film Crimes and Misdemeanors, led by Rabbi Jeff Pivo,  followed on Marth 4th with A Price Above Rubies, led by Rabbi Howard Lifshitz.  For more information contact:  Anna Besser at Beth Judea  847-634-0777 or www.bethjudea.org. or email her at abesser@bethjudea.org
