That’s happening tonight, as the social media sensation, made-for-TV-movie Sharknado gets screened at 200 theaters across the country, including Regal Lincolnshire Stadium 21 & IMAX.

The Syfy channel movie, starting Tara Reid, aired last month and became an instant Internet phenomenon. Apparently the makers are hoping it will become more than just a virtual hit by screening it across the country at midnight tonight, according to Ad Age.
When the campy film first aired, there were 5,000 tweets per minute happening at points, according to CNN.
