Very Silly Author Dr. Cuthbert Soup

If you like secret agents, psychic dogs, and sock puppets named Steve (and who doesn’t?) you won’t want to miss an evening with The One and Only Dr. Cuthbert Soup, on tour for his latest book, “Another Whole Nother Story,” at the Vernon Area Public Library at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16.

Dr. Soup’s first book, “A Whole Nother Story,” was featured on The Today Show’s Book Club for Kids in September 2010. [http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/39234878/ns/today-books/] This is his second book. He decided to make it a good one.

Dr. Soup was born at a very young age in Vienna during the height of the Great Sausage Famine. Today, he serves as founder, president and vice-president of the National Center for Unsolicited Advice. He enjoys playing his trombone in crowded spaces and is currently working on a stage production performed entirely by sock puppets on ice. He lives in an undisclosed location with his two pet snails, Gooey and Squishy, and his dog, Kevin, who is neither gooey nor squishy.
