will host a concert featuring symphonic bands from Buffalo Grove, John Hersey, and Wheeling high schools.
The concert will feature Dr. Robert Rumbelow, Director of Bands at University of Illinois as guest conductor. Rumbelow is conductor of the Illinois Wind Symphony, the premier concert wind band at U of I. He has appeared throughout the world, leading wind bands, orchestras, and chamber ensembles. As a composer and arranger, Rumbelow's music is performed internationally.
Band directors from the performing schools at the BGHS concert are the following: Ed Jacobi (Buffalo Grove); Scott Casagrande (Hersey), and Brian Logan (Wheeling).
