School of the Performing Arts Spring Registration

Registration for the spring semester at the Metropolis School of the Performing Arts has begun for new and returning students, with two brand new programs.

Metropolis has announced Little Dancin' Dudes, a dance class for little guys. Little Dancin' Dudes is the newest in their lineup of classes for toddlers, known as the MetropolTots program. The class is designed to help young boys learn to focus their energy by giving them an outlet to dance and move, while introducing boys to the basics of ballet and tap.

Also new is the Spotlights/Limelights Dance Studio Program. The Spotlights and Limelights programs are for grades 6-12. The Dance Studio Program offers a more intense and focused course of practice for dancers eager to expand their physical vocabulary and learn a deeper level of dance concepts. The Dance Studio Program combines technical skills in jazz, ballet and other styles with the artistic process of creating new dances.
