Rodgers and Hart: The Boys from Manhattan by Charles Troy

Richard Rodgers and Larry Hart wrote scores for 25 Broadway shows between 1925 and 1943.  In four separate programs, continuing every Monday through October 17, Charles Troy examines their life through music, video, and slides of lyrics, photos, and graphics. These programs coordinate with the Rodgers & Hart revue being presented by Light Opera Works in October. In the first program, Troy examines We’ll Have Manhattan, the 1925 breakthrough hit which was the first part of the Garrick Gaieties shows. Registration required.
