Rodgers and Hart: The Boys from Manhattan by Charles Troy

Richard Rodgers and Larry Hart wrote scores for 25 Broadway shows between 1925 and 1943.  In four separate programs, continuing every Monday through October 17, Charles Troy examines their life through music, video, and slides of lyrics, photos, and graphics. These programs coordinate with the Rodgers & Hart revue being presented by Light Opera Works in October. In this third program, Troy examines the New Life in Manhattan. After returning to Broadway with a vengeance in 1935, Rodgers and Hart wrote six hit shows in succession, climaxing with the fabulous Boys from Syracuse (1938) Registration required.
