Reverie Dance Academy’s Second Annual Showcase

Reverie Dance Academy in Buffalo Grove is celebrating the studio’s second successful year with its Spring Showcase. Dance lovers shouldn’t miss this special event, held Friday, June 1, at 6:30 p.m. in the Lake Zurich Performing Arts Center, part of Lake Zurich High School, located at 300 Church Street in Lake Zurich.

This special evening of dance will feature talented dancers ages 3-18, performing in a variety of styles, including ballet, lyrical, jazz, and hip-hop. The award-winning Reverie Dance Company will be highlighted in the show, along with the SMD group.

Tickets for this special event go on sale May 14 at Reverie Dance Academy, 1157 N. Arlington Heights Road, in Buffalo Grove. Preferred seating tickets in the orchestra pit are priced at $15 each, with general seating tickets available for $12 each. Limited tickets in the general seating section will be on sale the day of the show for $15.

Although Reverie’s regular dance year is drawing to a close, the studio also has a full summer schedule which runs from June 11-July 26. Auditions for the studio’s Reverie Dance Company, which has five age groups that range from age 6-18, will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 29.
