Harper photo students plan local show


 

A group of photography students from the Continuing Education Program at Harper College will show their work, starting Saturday, May 21 at America’s Market in Wheeling.

Four students from classes taught by Ernie Schweit of Wheeling will display photographs made in Schweit’s flower and barn photography classes at the Palatine community college.

“We are very excited about the show,” said Schweit. “The students have worked very hard to produce these images.”

The photographs will be displayed in conjunction with America’s Market’s annual Root Beer Festival the same day.

The market, located at 9 Huntington Lane, Wheeling, specializes in the sale of fine American food products.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The images will be on view for a month.
