Tenth Annual Fall Concert – America Dances!

Buffalo Grove High School, 7:00 pm – Sunday, November 13

Closing our Gala 10th anniversary season the Band will feature the theme “America Dances”.

Not only will we feature the music from North America, we
will also feature music from South America as well in a concert that will have you tapping your feet, clapping, swaying and maybe even get out of your seats to dance! 

Hear Aaron Copland’s music from “Billy the Kid” and “Rodeo”, experience Carnival with music from Brazil (featuring our percussion section), and travel “south of the border” with music of Mexican composer, Arturo Marquez – the increasingly popular and well-known “Danzon #2”.

The Jazz Band will of course be part of the festivities playing music of Paul McCartney and Steely Dan. Rounding out the program will be music from Glee,
the Beatles, and other hits from the Rockin’ 60’s.

Adults - $10 in advance, $12 at the door,

Seniors(55 & older) and students with ID - $8 at all
times.
