The importance of Israel in the world will be the focus of a talk Friday evening by an official from one of this country's most powerful Israel advocacy organizations.
of Northbrook will host Susan Brent Millner, Chicago Leadership Management Director of AIPAC, at its Shabbat evening service, Friday evening, June 1, 7:30 p.m.
The service will be at the Vernon Township Community Service Building,The public is invited.

Millner’s topic, “Why Israel Matters: Telling the Story,” will examine issues in the Middle East and how they have affected Israel's security and U.S. interests from the Peace Process to the Arab Spring.
Formed in 1963, the America-Israel Public Affairs Committee focuses on strengthening U.S. ties with Israel.
