Key to Awesomeness: After intertwining his love of science with literature for his seventh-grade science fair project, Kevin learned from his successes and downfalls to create his project for this year. Kevin states, “As a guy who can recite the Gettysburg Address and whose hero comes down to a close tie between Reagan and McCain, defeat was not an option for me, and taking from that, I decided to gather up my experiences with the project last year, and try again.” He takes a very active interest in politics and debate, which he feels have had a heavy influence on his ideas and actions. Kevin recalls becoming interested in science and math as a second-grader, once fascinated by the U.S. Space Shuttle program. Kevin envisions himself as a doctor, bio-engineer or possibly a politician, as he hopes to contribute to a country he loves.
