A few weeks ago, at the end of a family dinner, my daughter asked me to sign a waiver as she left with her friends to visit Xtreme Trampolines in Carol Stream. After my initial reaction of "you’re absolutely crazy and you’ll break a bone," my 9-year-old niece told me that she’d been there for a birthday party, which slightly reassured me.
Of course after she left to go, everyone in the room wanted to go. Well, everyone who was under 21. I checked out the website and was intrigued by this place. There’s regular jumping, tumbling, dodge ball, trampoline aerobics and so much more available at Xtreme Trampolines.
My son and his friends were continually asking to go, but the reality is that Carol Stream is far and gas prices are high, even it’s a fun place to go and they’d get terrific exercise.

So here’s the good news. The owner, Eric Beck, has finally gotten . Eric originally saw the concept in another city and thought it was a great idea to bring it to the Chicagoland area. He said, “The BG area has lots of families, which is the perfect demographic for us. The greatest thing about jumping on trampolines is the pure fun. The wonderful side benefit is the great exercise.”
This week, Sadie Winter of Long Grove took five boys to Xtreme Trampolines for her son Chad’s 11th birthday. Chad said it was the best birthday of his life. Sadie agreed with him. She said, “The boys had so much fun and were having the most incredible time. They are so excited for it to open up in BG!”

I can’t wait to finally say YES to one of the repeated times my son asks to go to Xtreme Trampolines.
