Park Districts Host Easter Egg Hunts

Events will be held this month by the Buffalo Grove and Wheeling park districts.

 

Buffalo Grove-area children will have a few opportunities to collect Easter eggs at events planned by the Buffalo Grove and Wheeling park districts. Both districts serve parts of Buffalo Grove. Don't forget to bring a basket to collect your eggs!

Saturday, March 23: The Wheeling Park District's Incredible Egg Scramble runs from 9-11:15 a.m. on the Wheeling High School football field. The event will include games and photo opportunities with the bunny, as well as with the park district's mascots. The event will conclude with the egg hunt at 11:15 a.m. The event is free and no registration is required.

Wednesday, March 27: The Buffalo Grove Park District's Night Owl Egg Hunt begins at 8 p.m. in Willow Stream Park. Children ages 5-12 can bring their flashlights and search for eggs hidden around the park. Advance registration is required. $5 for Buffalo Grove Park District residents/$6 for non-residents. Saturday, March 30: The Buffalo Grove Park District's Bunny Bonanza runs from 10-11:30 a.m. at Willow Stream Park. Age-specific egg hunts will be held for children ages 2-4, 5-7 and 8-10. Face-painting, games and photo opportunities will also be available. The event is free and no registration is required.
