If you tend to be forgetful, if you have trouble focusing, if you are feeling stuck with certain tasks and if your kids are driving you crazy, District 214 Community Education invites you to sign up for this one-session class from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 12 at Forest View Educational Center in Arlington Heights.
Brain Gym will help you improve your ability to remember, concentrate, organize, coordinate and relax. It is a collection of special activities designed to “switch on” the brain for better learning and coordination. Based on physiology and brain research, this system improves your brain function through simple, gentle targeted movements and processes. It also releases learning blocks common with learning challenges like dyslexia, attention deficit and autism.
To register, call Community Education at 847-718-7700. The cost is $39. An optional manual is available for purchase. Make sure you dress comfortably and bring bottled water.
