Buffalo Grove Art Festival Returns July 13-14

Buffalo Grove’s Invitational Fine Art Festival will return this month, when the creations of about 150 artists will be available for purchase.

The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 13 and 14 on the grounds of the Buffalo Grove Town Center, at the northwest corner of Lake-Cook Road and Route 83.

In addition to the work of professional artists, who will offer photography, jewelry, sculpture, furniture, glass, mixed media, the event will feature work by participants in the Unique Expressions Artists program and youth artists.

Weekend entertainment will be provided by Cirrus Falcon, Don Thomas and Michelet Innocence. 

Food will be sold by festival vendors as well as by restaurants in Town Center.

Special events for July 13 will include the Unique Expression program, showcasing artists with disabilities, and a performance of the Special Gifts Theatre at 1 p.m. in the main stage area.   

A Sunrise Stroll will be held from 9-10 a.m. July 14 for seniors and residents with disabilities. The stroll will provide them with an opportunity to view the art and talk to the artists before all the crowds come to the fest. 

A free shuttle will available to anyone who needs special assistance during the fest.
