Westfield Center Merry Makers

To kick off the season, Chicagoland Westfield (Old Orchard, Hawthorn, and Fox Valley) centers have a new holiday campaign, designed to make holiday shopping a “gift” in itself.  Shopping will be easy and enjoyable with a little help from the “Merry Makers”—the focal point of Westfield’s holiday campaign.  Professionally trained actors, dressed in elaborate holiday costumes, will surprise and delight customers with unexpected random acts of kindness such as carrying shopping bags, leading dance parties, and playing games of trivia. Customers who interact with the Merry Makers have a chance to be rewarded for their participation in the form of special treats that vary from center, such as gift cards. The Merry Makers will also come together throughout the day for special song and dance performances that are sure to get shoppers in the holiday spirit.

Just another way Westfield is making the shopping experience merrier this holiday season, the Merry Makers campaign will be caroling through the Chicagoland Westfield centers through Christmas Eve.  Also, don’t forget to visit Westfield centers for other special holiday services including gift wrapping, community performances, and more!

Westfield Old Orchard: Friday through Sunday, through 12/24 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (except for Christmas Eve, in which case hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
