Looking for Something Different this High Holy Day Season?

Congregation Ahavat Olam is a warm, intimate and friendly Reform Congregation in Deerfield, led by Cantor and Rabbinic Student Nancy Diamond Landsman. High Holy Day Services are unique, featuring beautiful music with professional musicians, an ASL Interpreter from the Hebrew Seminary of the Deaf, and YIZKOR and NEILAH SERVICES incorporated at the conclusion of the Yom Kippur Morning Service. Last year when the congregation first began, several people requested that we combine the services on Yom Kippur Day. It was so well received and was requested again this year! Now everyone has plenty of time to prepare or get to their Break-The-Fast meal, as well as recite all the prayers without waiting several hours to return to Temple for the Memorial and Concluding Services. Erev Rosh Hashana, September 4 at 7:30 p.m. Rosh Hashana, September 5 at 10:30 a.m. Erev Yom Kippur, September 13 at 7:30 p.m. Yom Kippur, September 14 at 10:30 a.m. (including Yizkor and Neilah). Services are held at 600 Deerfield Rd., in the parlor room at Christ United Methodist Church. For more information contact Alan Posner at ahavat-olam@hotmail.com or call (847)502-8120.
