Buffalo Grove Art Festival THIS Weekend!
Currently rated as one of the top 50 art festivals in the country, the 12th annual Buffalo Grove Art Festival hosts more than 160 juried artists from around the globe. Located on the main drive of Buffalo Grove Town Center, this exceedingly popular festival, produced in cooperation with the Village of Buffalo Grove, offers fine art of all mediums with an emphasis on jewelry. The Buffalo Grove Art Festival returns on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in Downtown Buffalo Grove at the corner of Lake Cook Road and Route 83.
“The Buffalo Grove Art Festival is a tradition that is cherished by the community and the participating artists,” says Amy Amdur, founder of Amdur Productions. “We are proud to be returning to Buffalo Grove for our twelfth year.”

Art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to watch the masters at work with art demos and booth chats taking place all weekend long! In addition to the work of the 160 juried artists, festival-goers will have the opportunity to view and purchase works from young artists, ages 18 and under, who participate in the Youth Art Division of the festival taking place on Sunday. There will also be a Special Disability Art Walk from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Sunday.

Free and open to the public, festival-goers will enjoy live performances from a variety of musical acts on the music stage sponsored by WLIT, great food and art activities for kids, and much more! "Unique Expressions: A Showcase of Local Artists with Special Needs,” will be featured at the festival for the fourth year. Young artists, ages 18 and under, will have an opportunity to showcase their original works in the Youth Art Division of the festival. Daily drawings take place at the festival where several lucky festival-goers will receive Art Buck$, courtesy of Amdur Productions, to spend on a piece of art at any of Amdur Productions’ 2013 festivals!
