“America has given birth to so many wonderful varieties of music,” said Rosen. “This year the BG Singers will celebrate these diverse styles with music from Sondheim, James Taylor, Michael Jackson, George Gershwin and much more …we have something for everyone.”

Rosen added, “We also like to highlight the young talent in our community whenever possible.” This year one of Rosen’s former students, Kristin Cardella, will join the Singers to solo in the Billy Gilman hit, “One Voice,” while another former student, Matt Pospeshil, will be featured in two numbers with his dance partner Rachel Jacob.

Every year, the Singers focus on different ways to give back to the community through their performances, often through the sale of song sponsorships. This year, the fundraiser will be “Book Now” and offers individuals or groups the opportunity to sponsor a song by donating new or gently used books. The books will then be distributed to Books4Cause at www.Books4Cause.com.  For more information about song sponsorship or Books4Cause, contact song sponsorship chairperson Lori Lapping at (847) 634-8971.

Tickets for all performances will be available beginning October 8 at www.bigdealproductions.org.  Advance ticket prices are $17 for adults, and $16 for children 12 and under and seniors 62 and older. All tickets purchased at the door will be $19. For more information on the show, contact Lindsay Grandt at (847) 850-2132 or Lindsay@bgparks.org.
