Buffalo Grove Park District Commissioner Thanks Residents for Voting

Adriane Johnson Thanks Buffalo Grove Residents for Voting on April 9th

Adriane Johnson, Commissioner of the Buffalo Grove Park District, has been elected to a two-year unexpired term.  Ms. Johnson was appointed to the Board of the Buffalo Grove Park District in October 2011 to fill a vacancy left by former Commissioner Jeffrey Weiss.

“I extend a heartfelt thank you to the residents of the Buffalo Grove Park District for signing petitions on my behalf, ensuring that my name was placed on the ballot for the April 9th election, and of course, for voting.  Your kind gesture affords me the opportunity to continue serving as a Commissioner for the Buffalo Grove Park District and playing a key role in building on this governing body’s success,” said Ms. Johnson.  “I thank all residents of the Buffalo Grove Park District who voted on April 9th.  Your voices were heard and your support validated.”

The Board is composed of five (5) non-paid commissioners and is the legal governing authority through which business of the Buffalo Grove Park District is conducted.  The Commissioners typically serve a term of four years and act as the policy-making body that reflects the needs and interests of all residents and taxpayers in the Buffalo Grove Park District.
