Stevenson Grad Competes on Wheel of Fortune

A Stevenson High School graduate is $3,000 richer after putting her word puzzle solving skills to the test on Wheel of Fortune.

Chrissy Hucke Banach competed on the show that aired Oct. 2. Her prize money came from correctly solving two puzzles, according to a "Wheel of Fortune Recaps" blog. (Answers: “Lexington Kentucky” and “Science Lab.”)

Banach graduated from Stevenson High School in 2002, the school reported. The Prairie View native went on to earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education and currently works as a fourth-grade teacher at Everett Elementary School in Lake Forest, according to her school webpage.
