Disappointments are inevitable for our kids. Tryouts, friendships, grades, and more may not work out as expected. Be ready to help your kids handle life's disappointments and come away stronger. Katie Kmiecik, LCPC, discusses Raising Strong Kids on Thurs., Oct. 25, 9:30 a.m., at Vernon Area Public Library Community Room, 300 Olde Half Day Rd., Lincolnshire. A District 96 Parent-to-Parent (P2P) Network free program for all interested parents of elementary, middle, and high school students in the Stevenson High School attendance area and surrounding communities.
