DESCRIPTION:Rabbi Richard Prass\, Director of Education\, has opened Cong
 regation Beth Am religious school enrollment for all students entering 3
 rd through 12th grade in September. All classes are held at Congregation
  Beth Am in Buffalo Grove.\nFor students who eventually intend to study 
 for Bar or Bat Mitzvah registration in both Hebrew &amp\; Religious scho
 ol is required.\nThe school and its programs and curriculum focus on the
  individual student and his / her family.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;We believe that s
 ensitivity to individual needs and concerns is a vital ingredient in our
  educational program.\nEducation goals include:\nProvide the student wit
 h a wholesome and satisfying Jewish experience.\nHelp the child arrive a
 t some measure of self-understanding so that he/she becomes intelligent 
 about that aspect of his total personality that is Jewish.\nEnrich the c
 haracter and personality of the growing Jewish child by virtue of contac
 t with those significant elements of his/her Jewish cultural heritage\, 
 which have meaning in the present day and at the child's particular leve
 l of development.\nProvide opportunities for meaningful religious experi
 ences\, which will serve as a basis for the child's willing and intellig
 ent participation in the religious life and home and synagogue.\nDevelop
  within the child identification with the Jewish people in all parts of 
 the world\, including Israel\, thus leading him/her to be sensitive to i
 ts problems and instilling in him/her a desire to help in their solution
 .&nbsp\;&nbsp\;To foster a desire to preserve the unity and integrity of
  Jewish community life and to ensure its&rsquo\; wholesome evolution.
