Singing Hosanna and waving palm branches, members of Kingswood United Methodist Church participated in a parade of palms outside the church welcoming Jesus (Krist Neumann) and a donkey into Jerusalem during Palm Sunday services.
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week leading up to Easter Sunday. Kingswood UMC will hold feast of remembrance service with foot washing on Holy Thursday, April 5 at 7pm. A Good Friday service will be held April 6 at 7pm in the Sanctuary. Easter Sunday services will include a sunrise service at 7am outside the church on the labyrinth with a holy fire in the center. Traditional services will be held at 9am and 10:30am in the sanctuary.

More About Kingswood United Methodist Church
Kingswood United Methodist Church serves as home to over 650 members. In addition to weekly services, which focus on worship and music ministry, the church offers vocal and handbell choirs, Bible study groups, and various fellowship opportunities ranging from treasure hunts to a men's basketball league. Kingswood gains much attention in the fall, when its front lawn is blanketed by pumpkins that are offered for sale. The church runs a food pantry and serves as a PADS shelter one night per week. It also sponsors Boy Scout Troop 401.
