Your own backyard has some of the most rewarding and amazing stories to date. Danni Allen lives in Wheeling, Il and is rocking her way through The Biggest Loser right now. Down to the final round of the show she has inspired thousands, if not millions of people with her life, story, and triumphs on the show. 

I was completely unaware until just recently that she was from the area and that she was doing so well. I find it unfortunate to have to say that I did not know how amazing this was becoming until a week ago. Television and media has a way of disconnecting people from reality. Shows about the super rich, super crazy, or super daring are not the typical day in the life stories of average people. 

Her story changes that for me, and everyone here at CrossFit Overcome. She is a resident of our backyard and shows that sometimes, amazing things can happen right in front of you and you don't even know it. 

I just want to say thank you Danni, for reminding me that inspiring people are hidden away in the farthest areas of the world, but also right behind you. You just have to open your eyes to it.
